Lyn is a double Master Degree qualified Government Accredited Clinical Hypnotherapist and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) Programmer. She has also completed the only Government Accredited Advanced Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy, Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Psychotherapy at the Australian College of Hypnotherapy.
Both Lyn's Masters Degrees were completed with Distinction. She was awarded the Deans Medal for Academic Excellence for her Master of Education (Transformative Learning) and was published on the Deans List for Academic Excellence for her Master of Arts (Social Ecology).
Transformative Learning and Social Ecology offer world renowned practices, as well as sophisticated techniques and strategies that have been rigorously academically proven and globally researched to generate change at multi-dimensional levels. Therefore Lyn is able to combine these processes with the unconscious practice of Clinical Hypnotherapy and NLP to facilitate ground-breaking holistic change in her clients. Social Ecology and Transformative Learning move beyond a mainstream approach which often focuses mainly on inter-personal relationships. They take into account an individuals sense of being, sense of place, environment, cultural and political as well as geo-political influences and spirituality.
Lyn has accrued over a decade of experience in Transformative Learning facilitation, counselling and training. She is also a published author (including Intuitive Mothering: Trusting Your Own Child Rearing Instincts, New Holland, 2007, and a variety of anthologies including Some Girls Do: My Life as a Teenager, Allen & Unwin, 2009).
Being a member of the Australian Hypnotherapy Association (AHA), the Australian Society of Clinical Hypnotherapists (ASCH) and the National Hypnotherapists Register of Australia (NHRA) gives Lyn's clients additional confidence.
Should you choose to invest your body and mind in a lifetime of change, choosing Lyn would ensure you are in the most capable and qualified hands possible.
